About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Jin Dragon Restaurant. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including sales tax and income tax returns.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including key performance indicators and financial analysis.
Requirements
  • Education: College or equivalent education in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular 30-40 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
