We are seeking a skilled General Labourer to join our team at McFadyen's Stone Quarry Inc. in Huntsville, Ontario.
About the Role:
As a General Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the extraction and processing of top-quality stone products. Your duties will include:
- Splitting large boulders into usable landscaping materials using a hammer and bolster.
- Stacking, piling, and wrapping the finished stone onto wooden pallets to prepare them for shipment.
- Using a propane and oxygen torch to apply a flame finish to saw-cut surfaces.
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in all work areas and the yard to ensure a safe work environment, free of debris.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a stone quarry or mining environment.
- High school diploma or certificated training in a similar field is an asset.
