Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the Business Services Group, providing daily oversight of staff and ensuring financial procedures are accurate and compliant.
  • Administer and supervise the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Develop and maintain a Multi-Year Financial Plan for the Nation and create the Consolidated Annual Budget in collaboration with the Executive Officer and department managers/supervisors.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in business, finance, accounting, or a related field and Aboriginal Finance Manager Certification is preferred. They will possess strong knowledge of GAAP principles and PSAB requirements, as well as advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
