We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Brassex Inc. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Handling and Reporting: Handle and report lost and found items, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
- Security and Safety: Participate in a criminal record check.
- Transportation and Travel: Public transportation is available.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, combination of sitting, standing, walking, up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling.
- Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, assists with immediate settlement needs, supports social and labour market integration, recruits newcomers and/or refugees, supports foreign credential recognition, offers mentorship programs, provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings.
- Support for Youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment, offers on-the-job training, offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities, provides awareness training.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people, offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities, develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training.
No degree, certificate or diploma required. Experience an asset.
