This is a permanent position with 35 hours per week, offering a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods for customers with various dietary requirements and preferences;
  • Inspire and train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure high-quality dishes are served consistently;
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize efficiency and minimize waste;
  • Clean and organize kitchen and work areas to meet health and safety standards;
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment;
  • Degree or certificate in culinary arts or related field (an asset);
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
