Job Title: Baker

Brampton Corners is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake breads, pastries, and desserts according to recipes and customer orders
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Bake mixed dough and batters
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • Excellent oral communication skills
Work Environment:

The Baker will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced bakers and kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
