Key Responsibilities- Pre-Procedure Preparation: Prepare patients for dental examinations, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
- Supply Management: Order dental and office supplies, maintaining a well-stocked and organized environment.
- Instrument Preparation: Prepare dental instruments and filling materials, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
- Clerical Duties: Perform reception and clerical tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records.
- Instrument Maintenance: Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, promoting healthy habits and a positive patient experience.
- Dental Procedures: Assist with dental procedures, including polishing teeth, applying fluoride and sealant, and taking X-rays.
- Administrative Tasks: Record dental procedures, invoice patients, and perform other administrative duties as required.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
