Job Description:

As a Maintenance Technician Lead at BGIS, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to assist other technicians in performing maintenance and repair services on non-technical facility components. This will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues related to facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.

You will also be responsible for performing regular facility technical and non-technical component monitoring and inspection, responding to routine service requests, and performing preventative and corrective maintenance. Additionally, you will operate facility mechanical, electrical and other systems as needed.

Main Accountabilities:
- Assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance (PM) program
- Ensure that deficiencies are identified, recorded and escalated, and that related documents are maintained
- Participate in and assist with facility-related projects

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of facility operations and maintenance work experience
- Knowledge of processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance
- Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair non-technical facility components

Preferred Qualifications:
- Building Operator Certification or equivalent through an accredited institution preferred
- Working towards a trade license considered an asset
