Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at North Delta Transport Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of transportation regulations and a safe driving record.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate with dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation operations
Requirements:
  • Class 1 Driver's License
  • Valid Medical Certificate
  • 2+ years of experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations
  • Safe driving record
