About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Child Care Provider to join our team at Hardeep Singh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Development
    • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
    • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
    • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents, promoting positive behavior and social development
    • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering a sense of independence and self-confidence
  • Meal Preparation and Nutrition
    • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and preferences
  • Transportation and Errands
    • Take children to and from school, appointments, and other activities, ensuring their safe transportation
  • Communication and Record-Keeping
    • Keep accurate records of daily activities, health information, and other relevant details
    • Communicate effectively with parents, sharing updates and concerns in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Experience in child care or a related field, with a focus on home-based care
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • First Aid Certificate
    • Criminal record check
    • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and excellent interpersonal skills
    • Flexibility, reliability, and time management skills
    • Patience, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility
