Job Title: Grill Cook

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Premsagar Foods Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Grill Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, determining the size of food portions and costs, and requisitioning food and kitchen supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Team Collaboration: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain relationships with vendors.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Support for Youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.

  • Support for Indigenous People: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
