Job Title: Disaster Restoration Technician

Platinum Pro-Claim is seeking a skilled Disaster Restoration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for restoring properties to their pre-loss condition after disasters such as floods, fires, and storms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance work to prevent damage and ensure the integrity of properties
  • Write specifications and technical reports to document restoration work
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to their original condition
  • Set up equipment and ensure it is functioning properly
  • Provide clients with information and updates on the restoration process
  • Determine damages in civil cases and provide expert testimony
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Conduct follow-up assessments to ensure the property is restored to its original condition
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to ensure they are safe and functional
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times to prevent accidents and injuries
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check and driving record check (abstract) required
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
