We are seeking a skilled Signal and Communications Installation Specialist to join our team at RailWorks Corporation. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.

The Signal and Communications Installation Specialist will be responsible for installing equipment or attachments on machinery, operating boom trucks on rail and road, and maintaining equipment in good working order.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install equipment or attachments on machinery
  • Operate boom trucks on rail and road
  • Maintain equipment in good working order
  • Perform safety checks
  • Signal directions or warnings to coworkers

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year experience operating heavy equipment
  • A Class 1 or 3 License and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Driving Record
  • Preferred: valid 0-8 ton Crane ticket; PNR can provide training

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, harsh weather conditions, and loud noise
