Lead Structural Engineer

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Lead Structural Engineer to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. As a key member of our Civil, Structural & Architectural department, you will be responsible for leading structural design projects for our mining and heavy industrial clients.
With a strong background in civil engineering and a proven track record of delivering complex projects, you will be a valuable asset to our team. Your expertise in structural design, including experience with structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood, will be essential in driving project success.
As a Lead Structural Engineer at Wood, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from concept studies to large-scale EPCM projects. You will collaborate with our national and global mining teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions for potash, lithium, uranium, and base metal projects.

- Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in structural design.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in the province of Saskatchewan.
- Comprehensive knowledge of structural designs and industry codes, standards, and construction methods.
- Material design experience, including experience with structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, or wood.
- Minimum of 15 years experience working on mining and/or heavy industrial projects is an asset.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team-oriented and creative thinking.
- Demonstrated abilities in cooperation and decision making.
- Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required.
