We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Metal Trader Trainee to join our growth-oriented team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our trading team, you will be responsible for building sustainable businesses by developing long-term mutually beneficial trading partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute trading strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with external stakeholders, including cold-calling and qualifying prospects.
- Negotiate prices and sales with customers, ensuring optimal value and profit margins.
- Continuously generate new trading ideas by identifying arbitrage opportunities and staying up-to-date with market trends.
- Manage trading positions while balancing risk and financing, ensuring smooth transactions and minimizing losses.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of trading activities.
- Travel to client sites in Canada and the US to maintain relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or science.
- Previous experience in a meritocratic role, such as sales, account management, or business development.
- High-energy individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a self-starter mentality.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Valid G Driver's License.
