Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Salt N' Pepper Western and Asian Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain consistency and quality
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen efficiency
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
