Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Power Trader to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success in the energy trading sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute profitable trading strategies based on sound fundamental drivers and risk management principles.
  • Assist in market analysis and strategy development across all relevant energy sectors.
  • Collaborate with other traders to enhance overall team profitability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in energy trading, with a focus on electricity markets.
  • Demonstration of profitability in the Northeast or Alberta power markets.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multiple ISO rules, protocols, and fundamental drivers.
