About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Development Specialist to join our team at WINMATE INTERNATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT GROUP INC. as an IT Infrastructure Technician. This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week, with a focus on delivering exceptional technical support and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support
    • Provide technical assistance to Website visitors and designers, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues.
    • Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
    • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software to identify and address potential threats.
  • Web Development
    • Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts to enhance user experience and functionality.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Recruitment and Support
    • Recruit newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflicts or natural disasters, providing them with support and resources to integrate into the community.
    • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, ensuring a fair and inclusive recruitment process.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
