Job Summary

Deliver and Pick Up Freight

At Manitoulin Transport, we require a reliable Class 5 driver to deliver and pick up freight in and around Red Deer. This is a full-time day position working Monday to Friday. The job involves pre-trip, mid-trip, and post-trip inspections of the truck. Securing freight while loading the truck for delivery and at the point of pick-up is also a key responsibility. Some dock work may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up freight in and around Red Deer
• Conduct pre-trip, mid-trip, and post-trip inspections of the truck
• Secure freight while loading the truck for delivery and at the point of pick-up
• Perform dock work as required

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 license
• 1 year of delivery experience
• ELD and handheld experience an asset
• Reliable and dependable
• TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience an asset
• Ability to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references
