About the Job

A.K. Landscaping Services Ltd. is seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a Landscape Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, and performing various other tasks related to landscape maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and applying fertilizers.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn care tasks as needed.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as required.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including sprayers and dusters.
  • Write daily basic progress reports to keep management informed of your activities.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens as needed.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability are essential for this role.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. You will be working outdoors in various locations, including private residences and landscape contractor sites. Public transportation is available.

Language and Work Term

The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
