Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Specialist to join our team at Lehigh Hanson Inc. in Edmonton, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating all project control functions, including scheduling, budgeting, contracts management, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project control functions, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
  • Maintain project document control system and project filing
  • Coordinate and contribute to reporting process for weekly meetings, management meetings, and steering committee meetings
  • Lead and coordinate schedule update and revision processes
  • Maintain project risk and uncertainty analyses and contribute to recovery plans when required
  • Participate in project audits and group review processes to support project execution
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in project controls with deep scheduling or estimating experience
  • 5+ years managing a project controls team preferred
  • Four-year university degree in a related field preferred
  • Working experience with EPCs (favorable) or other large contract execution models
  • Strong estimating and scheduling skills
  • Advanced understanding of software for cost and schedule control
  • Ability to manage through others, both internal and external to the project
