At Carewest Innovative Healthcare, we are seeking a dedicated Health Care Aide to join our interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide on-going client care, observing and monitoring client status, and reporting changes to the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. This role requires the ability to deliver prescribed medications accurately and maintain professional and ethical standards at all times. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on delivering quality care and safety to our residents and clients, with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-going client care, observing and monitoring client status
  • Report changes in client status to the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Deliver prescribed medications accurately as per policy and procedure
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times
Requirements:
  • Graduation from Grade 12 and an Alberta Government recognized Health Care Aide program
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Physical capability to manage frequent lifting, transferring, and repositioning of clients
  • Active and current registration in the Alberta HCA Directory
