About the Role

At DoorDash, we're looking for skilled Backend Engineers to build and maintain our large-scale 24x7 global infrastructure system. This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about developing, releasing, and running web applications, as well as defining the backend architecture and tech stack for a product area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security for our backend systems
  • Be involved in transitioning our monolithic codebase to a microservice-based architecture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business impact and maximize efficiency

Requirements

  • B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Prior experience working with backend tech stacks, including service-oriented architecture and REST APIs
  • Ability to analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
