About the Role

Akal Development Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor junior staff members, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work meets our high standards.
  • Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Material Management: Requisition and manage materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring that projects are well-stocked and equipped.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to specification.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
