Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Grocery Store Associate to join our team at Wenkai Garden Fresh. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their purchases, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and keeping the stockroom tidy.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management by counting and reconciling stock, identifying and reporting any discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals, promote products, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 20 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
