Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Rendezvous Restaurants of Fort Frances Limited. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Housekeeping Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Support Services: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Accessibility and Support: Provides physical accessibility accommodations, participates in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth employment, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent employment.
