We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to fill the role of IT Infrastructure Architect. This position will be based in Montréal and will report to the Data Center Operations Manager.

About the Role:

As an IT Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive technology designs, solutions, and implementation plans for the Data Center Team.
  • Review and evaluate solutions to ensure they meet the needs of our organization.
  • Design and implement architecture with 'Security by Design' principles.
  • Assist in the transition of the project to Operations.
  • Investigate the viability of upcoming and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of total experience in IT with relevant technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience in the analysis and understanding of the Infrastructure related to Data Center, hardware, and systems including servers, network, security, storage, and compute for traditional, hybrid, or cloud Data Centers.
Essential Competencies:
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills in English (French is a big plus).
  • Strong applied knowledge of layered architectures, virtualized environments, security, monitoring, and high availability systems.
