Job Title: Valet Parking Attendant - Ottawa

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Valet Parking Attendant in Ottawa.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work for Accor, a world-leading hospitality company with a rich history of innovation and excellence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by assisting with parking needs, ensuring efficient and safe vehicle handling, and promoting our hotel's amenities.

You will be working closely with our Guest Service Manager Valet and other team members to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch service to guests by offering parking assistance upon arrival and departure, clearly directing them to the valet parking area or alternative public parking services if preferred.
  • Greet all guests arriving by vehicle and offer a warm welcome, promoting our hotel's facilities and local attractions.
  • Ensure all vehicle keys are securely stored in a locked location and provide detailed information about parking fees and benefits.
  • Operate all types of vehicles (manual and regular transmission) safely and efficiently, taking care to highlight any damage on corresponding valet parking tickets.
Requirements:
  • Able to work weekends, evenings, and shift work, adapting to changing schedules as needed.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Physical ability to operate a vehicle, standing for extended periods, and walking throughout the shift.
  • A valid Driver's License with no infractions, and a good command of the English language.
