Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Post-Secondary Education completed, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, and business banking credit risk.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements specific to Business Banking Credit Risk, including capital adequacy, risk governance, and credit risk management regulations issued by key regulatory bodies such as OSFI, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Reserve, the European Banking Authority (EBA), and the Basel framework.
  • Expertise in governance, regulatory compliance, and policy oversight, with experience in designing and implementing regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional knowledge of the Bank's policies, procedures, and audit disciplines, as well as its business lines and operations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint), data analysis tools (e.g. PowerBI), policy analysis tools (e.g. OpenPages, LexisNexis, ClauseMatch), and experience with workflow and project management tools.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment, ensuring deadlines and regulatory expectations are met.
  • Spanish or French would be an asset.
