About the Job

FIVE RIVERS LOGISTICS LTD. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods across the country, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, using computer equipment and GPS navigation systems.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as needed.
Requirements
  • AZ class license.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work overtime and be physically demanding.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and flexibility.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
