We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Lifemark. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to their overall well-being.
About the RoleAs a Registered Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services to clients, including manual manipulation of soft tissues to promote relaxation, reduce pain and inflammation, and improve range of motion. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations.
Responsibilities- Provide hands-on massage therapy services to clients, including manual manipulation of soft tissues to promote relaxation, reduce pain and inflammation, and improve range of motion.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations.
- Manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment.
- Registration (member in good standing) with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
- New graduates and up to 5 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience treating clients in an outpatient setting is a strong asset.
- An interest in a treatment-based approach and complex injuries.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
