Electrical Systems Engineer

At RGBSI, we're looking for a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in Windsor.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing electrical systems, including power distribution, controls, HVAC, and compressed air systems.

This role involves taking ownership of building electrical and mechanical systems, investigating and resolving deficiencies, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

You'll work closely with internal customers to provide solutions to equipment and building upgrades, develop scopes of work for facility construction and equipment installation projects, and manage outside contractor services.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Requirements:
  • Experience with facility electrical systems such as power distribution, controls, safety controls, and lighting
  • Detailed knowledge of Ontario Building Code, Ontario Electrical Safety Code, TSSA standards, OHSA, CSA, and local by-laws
  • Ability to interpret and develop electrical and mechanical drawings and specifications
  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Strong project management skills, organizational skills, teamwork, written and verbal communication
