Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Relationship Builder to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with referral networks to drive new mortgage business and increase BMO's share of the home financing market.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact referral and origination sources to discuss home financing solutions and identify sales opportunities.
- Assist with implementing targeted marketing programs and promotions to drive business results.
- Search for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to position to the branch and achieve individual sales and profitability goals.
- Serve as a customer advocate during application and processing activities.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- In-depth understanding of the mortgage lending process and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills.
- Expert knowledge of self-management, teamwork, personal lending, relationship sales, and management.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is between $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a commission-based role, and the base salary may vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
Language Requirements
Fluency in English and French is required for this role, as it involves communicating with clients and team members inside and outside the province of Quebec.
