Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Moh Trucking Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials between departments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments to optimize delivery times
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics operations and performance
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Monitor personnel workloads and locations to ensure adequate staffing
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Compile worksheets and specifications of orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
  • Prepare and maintain progress and other reports to track logistics operations
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure compliance with company procedures
  • Arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Follow-up on issues with work orders to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Keep track of shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices to ensure compliance
  • Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective logistics operations
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of dispatch management service software and MS Office
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
