About the Role

The Pipeline Supervisor, also known as a Technical Art Director (TAD), is a senior position within the Technical Art team at EA SPORTS. As a TAD, you will be responsible for directing, defining, designing, and implementing efficient, high-quality content production workflows, technologies, and visuals for our EA SPORTS FC Art team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage the development of technical art pipelines and workflows to ensure high-quality content production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including art, design, engineering, and production, to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical art standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all EA SPORTS FC titles.
  • Lead and mentor junior and intermediate technical art staff to ensure their growth and development.
  • Assume ownership of technical issues and bring them to resolution, delegating tasks to senior, intermediate, and junior technical art staff as needed.
Requirements
  • At least 6+ years of cinematic/games production experience, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing technical art pipelines.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D art packages, including Maya, and proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python and C#.
  • Expert knowledge of asset optimization techniques and experience with developing techniques to meet quality targets within technical constraints.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with artists, engineers, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • A solutions-provider with a passion for games and a willingness to jump into the unknown to solve new problems.
