Purchasing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Purchaser to join our team at Colas Western Canada Inc. in Surrey, British Columbia. As a Purchaser, you will be responsible for establishing and developing strong partnerships with management teams and local/regional suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize purchasing power by procuring materials and parts efficiently.
- Implement purchasing policies and procedures to support operations while maintaining purchasing function integrity.
- Allocate and code purchasing orders in filling systems.
- Ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials as per operations and project requirements.
- College degree or university degree in administration, procurement, or relevant programs.
- SCMA diploma/PMAC certification is an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is essential, with familiarity with JD Edwards Software an asset.
- Parts experience in automotive/industrial equipment is an asset.
- Option for hybrid work (3 days in office, 2 days from home).
