At Saturn Machine Works, we are seeking a skilled Product Technologist to join our Products Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in the quoting, assembly, sales, and technical support and troubleshooting of our oilfield-related product line.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in engineering technology and experience in sales of oilfield or related equipment. You will be working in a fast-paced shop and sales department, and will be required to work overtime when necessary.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of AutoCAD and solid modeling, and will be proficient in the use of machine shop and oilfield-related equipment. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relations with customers, preparing sales quotes, and providing technical support and troubleshooting for customers of sold products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Controlling inventory for our product line and related materials
  • Purchasing parts for our products
  • Assisting with international shipments of products
  • Building and maintaining relations with customers
  • Preparing sales quotes to customers for oilfield-related products
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for customers of sold products
  • Coordinating and assisting in the assembly of products as required
  • Updating and maintaining drawings for current product line
  • Updating and creating manuals, procedures, and technical documentation for current product line

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Sales of oilfield or related equipment experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and solid modeling
  • Machine shop and oilfield-related experience
