About the Job

Viacore Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Services Team in Sault Ste Marie, ON. As an Electrician at Viacore, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Read and interpret electrical code specifications, drawings, circuit diagrams, and blueprints to determine wiring layouts.
  2. Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures, electrical control and distribution equipment, and other electrical components.
  3. Splice, join, and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits.
  4. Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
  5. Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems, and remove and replace faulty components.

Requirements

  • Must hold a current valid driver's license.
  • Must possess a 309A or 442A Certificate of Qualification or a related trade experience.
  • Basic experience with rigging equipment.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Will to travel and work in remote locations.
