Tripshepherd is a leading travel company specializing in small group tours across North America. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts from the ground up.

The Marketing Director will be a key member of the Tripshepherd leadership team, responsible for driving customer acquisition, brand awareness, and overall growth through innovative and hands-on marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Marketing Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Tripshepherd's business goals.
    • Execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital advertising, content creation, and analytics.
    • Directly manage all marketing platforms, ensuring optimal performance and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies.
  • Content Creation & Management:
    • Oversee the creation of high-quality content for various marketing channels, including blogs, social media posts, and promotional materials.
    • Collaborate with content creators and designers to ensure that all marketing materials are aligned with our brand voice and visual identity.
  • Brand Development & Customer Engagement:
    • Enhance and protect Tripshepherd's brand, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
    • Engage with customers through various platforms, building a loyal community and gathering valuable feedback.
    • Work closely with the sales, product, and operations teams to align marketing efforts with overall company goals.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a marketing role with a strong emphasis on hands-on execution, preferably in the travel, hospitality, or related industries.

They will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive growth and brand awareness.

They will also have a deep understanding of digital marketing, including PPC, SEO/SEM, social media, and email marketing.

Strong content creation skills, with experience managing content across multiple channels, are also essential.

Proficient in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar platforms to track performance and make data-driven decisions.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for storytelling and brand building.
