About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Reitmans Canada Ltée/Ltd. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Store Operations
- Ensure the store is achieving company objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
- Provide leadership and guidance to store staff to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who are sales, customer, and fashion-focused.
- Implement merchandise strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, consistent, and inviting store environment that inspires customers to shop.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain effective and open communication with Store Manager and District Manager.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to store staff to improve performance and achieve goals.
Requirements
- Leadership Experience
- At least 1 to 2 years of leadership and/or supervisory experience in a customer experience-based environment.
- Proven ability to lead teams to success through strong sales performance.
- High School graduate or GED equivalent. Post-Secondary is an asset.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while also being committed to creating an amazing customer experience.
- Be available to work weekends and evenings.
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary
- $45,000 - $50,000 (Salary may be greater based on relevant experience)
