We are a dynamic and welcoming team at The Snack Shack, Chester's Chicken, and we are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer expectations.
    • Portion and wrap foods accurately and efficiently.
  • Inventory Management
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients and supplies.
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as needed.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Participate in diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Participate in cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
    • Work 30 to 40 hours per week in a permanent position.
