Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing quality speech and language services to patients, consistent with professional standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of speech-language pathology
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
  • Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba (CASLPM)
  • Membership in professional organizations such as Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with diverse patient populations
  • Competency in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge of Indigenous customs, traditions, and values
