About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at CEFA Junior Kindergarten. As an Assistant to our Early Childhood Educators, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Early Childhood Educators: Assist in carrying out programs that promote the development of children, including storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in keeping accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Preparation and Setup: Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observations and Progress Reports: Submit written observations on children to Early Childhood Educators or Supervisors.
  • Staff Meetings: Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Child care centre.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Child development assistant (ECE level 1).
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
