Performance Marketing Strategist

The RoleWe're seeking a highly experienced Performance Manager to join our Performance department. As a senior performance leader, you'll be responsible for spearheading the strategic leadership of our largest paid media accounts across various industries and ad platforms. Your focus will be on driving project excellence, pushing forward new account opportunities, and building trusting client relationships.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Domain Expertise: Guiding account success at Thrive Digital as a senior performance leader, evolving best-in-class solutions, and identifying opportunities through direct and indirect project and team contributions.
- Client Success: Championing client success at Thrive Digital as a leader across large, multi-faceted accounts, identifying solutions or refining processes across projects and teams to improve partnerships.
- People Development: Growing Thrive Digital's performance expertise by supporting the development of team members through training, mentorship, direct management of 1-2 performance team members, and contributing to company resources.
- Company Impact: Leveraging expertise to inform and enhance organizational initiatives, contributing to various company or departmental goals.
We're committed to delivering an exceptional onboarding experience that will create a strong foundation for your launch in this role:
- In your first 30 days, you'll familiarize yourself with Thrive Digital's tools and processes, begin onboarding to projects and teams across your department, identify performance opportunities, and build relationships.
- In your first 60 days, you'll be playing an active role across projects, collaborating with teams on day-to-day and longer-term account initiatives, and begin developing processes and strategies to improve team and project success.
- In your first 90 days, you'll be stepping into account leadership opportunities, providing support across project planning, strategy, client partnerships, and team skills development, and collaborating with senior stakeholders across the company.
We're looking for a highly experienced performance marketing professional with a strong track record of success in managing large-scale paid media campaigns. Your qualifications should include:
- Executing, planning, and maintaining high-complexity performance marketing accounts with consistently positive ROI for clients across multiple platforms.
- Leading and mobilizing groups of team members, contributing to the development of junior team members through direct management, training, strategic guidance, and project leadership.
- Advanced analytical skills and experience using visualization tools like Google Sheets, Excel, Google Data Studio, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Creating or collaborating on internal initiatives or processes that have been adopted and utilized company-wide.
- Managing performance media across various business verticals and sizes, pacing, forecasting, and reporting the impact of performance media on overarching business goals.
- Successfully leading complex client relationships involving multiple stakeholders of varying seniority levels.
- Coordinating internal team efforts across multiple client initiatives.
- Effectively communicating with clients and training internal team members on marketing concepts.
