Job Description

As a Renewable Energy Project Development Manager at Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel, you will be responsible for managing wind, solar and energy storage projects through all development phases from early stage to late stage (Notice-to-Proceed). You will be responsible for delivering high-quality and profitable projects that meet all project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage wind, solar and energy storage projects through all development phases
  • Deliver high-quality and profitable projects that meet all project milestones
  • Represent the projects both internally and externally
  • Build relationships with landowners, community members, regulators, and local government officials to gain project support
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a detail-oriented, well-organized, flexible, positive, accessible, and adaptable person with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience working in power and/or renewable energy on complex projects across North America
  • Strong knowledge of provincial and federal legislation regarding renewable energy development
  • Experience working with landowners, rural municipalities, and/or First Nations and Indigenous communities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, as well as Sharepoint and Teams and other relevant office management tools
