About the role
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage a portfolio of commercial lending files, analyze and authorize loan requests, and prepare documentation and recommendations for important projects. You'll also be responsible for conducting annual reviews, risk analyses, and financial updates for loan files, as well as organizing meetings with brokers and clients, consolidating business relationships, and participating in industry events.
What you'll accomplish
- Manage a portfolio of commercial lending files
- Analyze and authorize loan requests
- Prepare documentation and recommendations for important projects
- Conduct annual reviews, risk analyses, and financial updates for loan files
- Organize meetings with brokers and clients
- Consolidate business relationships
- Participate in industry events
What we're looking for
- Degree in accounting, administration, and/or finance
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial lending, accounting, administration, and/or finance
- CPA, CGA, or CMA designation, or CFA, an asset
- Excellent analytical, synthesizing, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of the commercial lending industry, an asset
- Ability to develop excellent business relationships
- Client-focused, results-driven, and solution-oriented
- Team player
- Strong organizational, business (negotiation), attention to detail, autonomy, and initiative
- Bilingual (French and English)
