About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Recommendations team at eBay Canada Technology. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in developing state-of-the-art recommendations systems that drive business growth and improve user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop large-scale machine learning models to power our recommender systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into our production environment
  • Work with unique and large datasets to develop and deploy AI models that drive business impact
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI to ensure our systems remain competitive
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a focus on large-scale systems
  • Strong expertise in programming languages such as Scala, Java, or Python
  • Experience with cloud services, big data pipelines, and no-SQL databases
