About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Alvin & Rufin Boudreau and Sons LTD as a Fish Plant Worker. This is a seasonal position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Weighing Fish Fillets: Cut and weigh fish fillets according to specifications to ensure high-quality products.
  • Fish Preparation and Handling: Cut, clean, and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing, and transport them to the work area.
  • Quality Control: Inspect fish fillets to determine the optimal number and size of fillets, and check products and packaging for defects.
  • Record Keeping: Record production information, including weight and packaging details.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and ensure a smooth workflow.
Requirements
  • Language: English or French
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
  • Work Term: Seasonal
