Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineering Student to join our Horizon Project Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of multi-disciplinary capital projects, developing knowledge and experience in engineering, project management, and field construction.
- Work with senior project engineers to ensure all engineering deliverables and contractual obligations are met.
- Participate in internal project activities, including HAZOPS, 3D model reviews, procurement activities, and deliverables review process.
- Assist the construction group in resolving engineering and technical issues that arise outside the approved engineering design.
- Develop and maintain project engineering tools and templates.
- Participate in field walk downs and measure construction progress.
- Contract formation and manage change orders to support construction.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor Engineering or Master's Degree Program.
- Good knowledge of the basics of Excel and analytical skills.
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol test must be successfully completed.
