Senior Radiation Physicist

AtkinsRéalis is dedicated to engineering a better future for our planet and its people. We are seeking a Senior Radiation Physicist to join our team in the Fuel department.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiation Physicist to contribute to the development of our fuel management systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiation physics and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement radiation protection strategies to ensure the safety of our employees and the public
  • Conduct research and analysis to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our fuel management systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate radiation-related risks
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in radiation physics and a relevant degree
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on radiation protection and fuel management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
